An employee of the Arkadelphia Human Development Center has been charged with Abuse of an Endangered or Impaired Person, a Class D Felony.

According to an affidavit filed by Special Agent Laura Glover of the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office, Princess Dansby, 41, of Prescott has been charged for an incident caught on camera last year at the center in Caddo Valley.

Authorities were notified that Dansby, a residential operations manager at the AHDC, had abused a patient, who is identified in the document only by his initials. The victim was found to have received a bloody nose and multiple wounds and bruises during the incident.

Camera footage shows the suspect shoving the victim several times inside and outside of the facility.  She is also seen shoving him against a cinderblock wall with her hand at his throat. She was also filmed positioning herself behind him putting him in a chokehold several times.

The camera footage also shows the suspect forcing the suspect backwards by pulling on his neck and pushing him to the floor while standing over him. He is also seen being forcefully ejected from an office, causing him to strike his head on a cinderblock wall. Several times the victim is seen holding the back of his head as if in pain.

The video also shows Dansby throwing the suspect to the ground and forcing his face to the floor while straddling him and sitting on his back.

When interviewed about the incident, Dansby stated that the victim slipped in water and fell backwards out of the office. She also said that she “took him to the floor.” Other staffers stated that they saw the suspect pin him to a wall, push him out of the office and put him in a headlock and drop him to the floor with his nose blooding.

The affidavit noted that the suspect refused to talk to the special agent in the case.
