The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Sunday, Jan. 21
8:30 a.m.
An officer investigated a report of a hit-and-run parking lot accident at Walmart.

Tuesday, Jan. 23
Officers worked a third-degree domestic battery case involving a juvenile.

Wednesday, Jan. 24
Police opened two reports of runaway juveniles.

Police investigated a residential burglary at an unlisted location.

Juvenile case, obstructing governmental operations.

Thursday, Jan. 25
6:48 a.m.
Officers investigated a report of an explosion and power outage at Clark and Main streets.

Friday, Jan. 26
7:40 a.m.
A manager at Winner’s Circle #14, 3120 Pine St., reported the store was the recipient of two counterfeit $100 bills over the course of a week. The manager said both bills tested as real, but that upon depositing them the bank informed the store they were indeed fake.

Police investigated the theft of a firearm at an unlisted location.

10:30 a.m.
A woman reported a known suspect had sent her threatening messages on social media.

10:30 p.m.
Officers investigated a complaint of a restraining order violation at a South 22nd Street residence. Police searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him.

Saturday, Jan. 27
3:42 p.m.
Tonya Leeann Furr, 50, of Friendship, was cited at Walmart for theft of property following a store complaint of a shoplifter concealing several food items inside a large purse.

Sunday, Jan. 28
4:32 p.m.
Alexis White, 25, of Arkadelphia, was cited at Walmart for theft of property following a store complaint of a shoplifter hiding items in her bag.

4:40-6:10 p.m.
Officers were summoned to Country Car Wash on Country Club Road, where a woman reported she had been jumped by a known female who fled the scene prior to police arrival. EMS treated the complainant at the scene for two abrasions to her forehead. Officers reviewed surveillance footage but found no supporting evidence of the attack.

Officers responded to a welfare concern involving a juvenile.

8:45 p.m.
Katy Louise Crawford, 53, of Arkadelphia, was cited at 5th and Clinton streets for possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and no liability insurance.
