The Arkadelphia Regional Economic Development Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Brandi Adams, RN, BSN, and Master Instructor at the ASU Three Rivers Career Center, as the latest FutureMaker honoree.

The FutureMakers series is dedicated to celebrating the educators, mentors, and community partners who are preparing students for the careers of tomorrow. We aim to share their stories, highlight their impact, and inspire others to join in the work of preparing today’s learners for success in the years ahead.

Mrs. Adams educates juniors and seniors from 11 surrounding high schools. With over 25 years of  experience as a Registered Nurse—including specialized roles in Labor and Delivery and OB Transport—she brings a high level of clinical authority and real-world expertise to the classroom.

“Brandi prepares her students to compete against the best and brightest students in Arkansas,”  said John Bratton, Director of the Malvern Career Center. ” Her former students are a constant reminder of the impact she has made.”

Beyond providing technical instruction, Mrs. Adams prepares her students for the workforce by  developing imperative soft skills and encouraging participation in SkillsUSA competitions at both the state and national levels. Her classroom is frequently adorned with state champion banners, proving her ability to prepare students to compete against the best and brightest in Arkansas.

Mrs. Adams is known for holding her students to the same high standards they will face in nursing  or medical school, often reminding them to “think beyond the moment.” Her commitment to recognizing the individual needs of struggling students and providing a clear path to success embodies the spirit of the FutureMakers initiative.
