Real Estate: 7 homes change ownership in Clark County

Clark County real estate transactions recorded May 22 through June 4, 2026, having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names. A variety of factors, including improvements made to a home or property, are considered in real estate prices that may increase from when the seller bought the property.

Highlighting this round of real estate transactions is the $400,000 sale of mostly pastureland in the South Fork community near Gurdon. By way of trustees warranty deed, Russell Ledbetter and Randy Ledbetter, et al, are buying 118.5 acres of land adjacent to and east of McMillan Road. The Ledbetters, of Antoine, are buying the acreage from the revocable trusts of Charles and Alice Golden.

In the DeGray community, Mason Archer is buying a 2,415-SF brick-and-frame home on Dogwood Drive for $350,000. Previous owners Angela and Justin Hardin bought the place in 2022 for $285,000.

Roderick and Tracy Styron are buying a 1,632-SF brick home on Ivy Circle, Arkadelphia, for $339,000. The property last sold in 2018 to Franklin Sharp and Sherry Harmon for $145,000.

Richard and Rebecca Rhodes are buying a 1,980-SF brick-and-frame home at the 400 block of North Park Drive, Arkadelphia, for $315,000. Previous owners Timothy and Yvonne Saul bought the home in 1995 for $132,000.

For $285,000 Adason and Christopher Thornton are buying a 2,260-SF brick home on 1 acre at the 1800 block of Millcreek Drive, Arkadelphia. Previous owners Paul and Janet Franks, of Rockport, bought the property in 2004 for $113,000.

In Caddo Valley, Presley and Briar Wilson are buying a 2,012-SF home at the 200 block of Frost Road for $225,000. The home last sold in 2003 to Hayley Tibbs, now of Cave City, for $117,000.

In the Central community, Keith and Shelly Craft’s Craft Properties LLC is buying a 1,527-SF brick home and 2 acres on Dyess Road for $185,000. Previous owners Dennis and Juanita Mauldin bought the place in 2008 for $89,000.

Wrapping up this round of home and land buys is the $125,000 sale of a 1,774-SF brick home on Valerie Drive, Arkadelphia. Roxie Browning is purchasing the house from Ruthie Gibson, of El Dorado. Gibson bought the property in 2010 for $85,000.

Editor’s note: The Arkadelphian is aware of rumors of a sale involving an Arkadelphia restaurant to a national chicken chain, as well as a land swap between a package store and planned pharmacy. However, until we see a deed recorded or one of the parties tells us something, these will continue to be rumors.
