Marjorie Berkau McLemore, age 79, of Hot Springs, formerly of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Monday April 8, 2024, at CHI St Vincents in Hot Springs. She was born on August 8, 1944, in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of the late Kluck Uz and Marjorie Smith Berkau.

Marjorie was a 1962 graduate of Oakridge High School in Oakridge, TN, and a graduate of the University of Tennessee.  She taught school for many years in Tennessee and Texas. Marjorie was a member of First United Methodist Church in Arkadelphia. She enjoyed dancing, physical fitness, boating, and water skiing. 

Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Frank McLemore. 

Marjorie is survived by two sons, Greg McLemore (Susan) of Bismarck and Michael McLemore (Misty) of Midlothian, Texas, one daughter, Becky Rupert (Homan) of Crosby, Tennessee, two brothers, Tommy Berkau (Vicki) of Mt. Gilead, NC, and Gene Berkau (Ernie) of Franklin, TN, one sister, Pattie Berkau Boswell (Rick) of Rockwood, TN, four grandchildren, Lacie Tucker, Shelbie Tucker, Brock McLemore, and Brant McLemore, and one great-grandchild on the way.
