Kenneth Wayne Haynie, age 71, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born July 15, 1955, in Camden, the son of the late Doyle Bass and Ruby Jean Chellette Haynie.
Kenny was a United States Marine Corps veteran. He attended The Pentecostal Church in Arkadelphia. Kenny was an avid hunter in his free time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Shane Gummeson, two brothers, Bruce Haynie and Randy Haynie.
Kenny is survived by one son, Patrick Haynie of Little Rock, one daughter, Tiffany Haynie of Gurdon, six grandchildren, Kaylee Smallwood, Jaylen Wells, LaShawn Smallwood, Ja’Onnah McGhee, Caitlyn Gummeson and Bryce Gummeson, and one great-grandchild, Shiloh Wells.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Price officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
