Read below for instructions and more information, then CLICK HERE to get started on finding your ballot.

To use the Secretary of State’s VoterView page, simply type in your first and last name, then your date of birth to see a list of different sample ballots. Choose from a list of Democratic, Republican or Non-Partisan ballots.

Printed sample ballots are also available at the county clerk’s office, located upstairs in the Clark County Courthouse, 401 Clay St., Arkadelphia.

The Nonpartisan ballot

This ballot includes three nonpartisan judicial ballots.

For State Supreme Court Chief Justice Position 1, voters may choose from Supreme Court Justice Rhonda Wood, Supreme Court Justice Barbara Womack Webb, Jay Martin or Arkansas Supreme Court Justice Karen Baker.

In the race for State Supreme Court Associate Justice Position 2, the ballot includes State Supreme Court Justice Courtney Hudson and Judge Carlton D. Jones.

A local race for State District Judge District 40 has two candidates: Greg Vardaman and Judge Randy L. Hill.

The Nonpartisan ballot also includes local tax issues (see more information under Other Local Races below).

The Republican ballot

In a state race, Republican voters will decide on State Senate District 03. That race includes Mark Silvey, a Hope businessman, and incumbent Sen. Steve Crowell, of Magnolia.

The Republican ballot also includes races on the Nonpartisan Judicial Ballot, as well as local tax issues.

The Democratic ballot

On the federal level, Democratic voters will choose from a list of six presidential candidates: Marianne Williamson, Dean Phillips, Stephen P. Lyons, Armando “Mando” Perez-Serrato, Frankie Lozada or Joseph R. Biden Jr.

Other local races

A citizen’s address determines which races he or she may vote in. For example, an election to determine the continuation of a 1-cent sales tax in Arkadelphia is restricted to citizens living within the city limits — Caddo Valley residents, for instance, will not be able to vote in that election. This tax issue will be on the ballot for Arkadelphia residents:

• City of Arkadelphia 1% Sales and Use Tax
Vote FOR or AGAINST adoption of a 1% local sales and use tax within the City of Arkadelphia (the “City”) to become effective on January 1, 2025 and to expire on December 31, 2034. The tax will replace the 1% local sales and use tax levied by the City that will expire on December 31, 2024. Collections of the tax will be used to fund general purposes of City government.

Here are some local school taxes on the ballot for residents living within those school districts:

• Arkadelphia School District 44.65 Mills School Tax
• Centerpoint School District 41.00 Mills School Tax
• Gurdon School District 43.00 Mills Tax
• South Pike County School District 41.00 Mills Tax
• Bismarck School District 41.00 Mills Tax
