The first day of the two-week early voting period in the March preferential primary saw 142 Clark County citizens show up to the polls.
That’s 1% of the 12,522 registered voters in the county.
County Clerk Tracy Rider announced the figures Monday evening after the county’s lone early voting precinct closed.
Early voting resumes through March 4, with polls open daily* from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Arkadelphia Recreation Center at 2555 Twin Rivers Dr. serves as the early voting center for all of Clark County.
Election Day is Tuesday, March 5. Voters may then cast a ballot at any one of nine Vote Centers throughout the county (see the link below).
