Participants this week wrapped up a four-week healthy cooking course at the Arkadelphia Community Family Enrichment Center. Hosted by Baptist Health’s Community Outreach, the course focused on shopping and cooking healthy foods on a budget.

Each class prepares and easy and tasty kid-friendly recipe, and participants take home a fresh bag of groceries to try the recipe at home.

Another Cooking with Community Outreach class will begin June 7, with subsequent classes held each Wednesday from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Enrichment Center, located at 301 N. 23rd St. To sign up for the next class call 870-246-5675.

Participants of the Grocery Store Tours receive a $50 Walmart gift card following the tour.
