The following incidents were gathered from reports filed Aug. 24-30, 2026, at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Arrested or cited individuals are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names, so don’t even think about asking.
Arkadelphia Police Department
Monday, Aug. 24
11 p.m.
Responding to a domestic disturbance at the 100 block of Clay Street, police arrived to make contact with Ashlyn Nicole Crockett, 28, of Arkadelphia. Crockett displayed signs of being intoxicated and initially was uncooperative with officers who asked for her identification, name and date of birth. The other party said she had loaned her vehicle to Crockett and Crockett’s brother, both of whom returned intoxicated. The other party provided the soused siblings a ride to the gas station to fill her tank, but en route they began fighting in the car, causing the driver to stop the vehicle. The brother exited and took off walking, and Crockett was asked to leave upon returning to the Clay Street residence. She wouldn’t leave, however, and became irate, prompting a call to police. Crockett reportedly became mouthy and loud with police, who arrested her on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Tuesday, Aug. 25

12:30 p.m.
A Clay Street woman reported being threatened by a known male.
Wednesday, Aug. 26
1:02 p.m.
An O’Connell Street woman reported her daughter had taken her vehicle without authorization nearly three weeks ago. The complainant provided officers with the suspect’s address, as well as a description of the vehicle. She was advised a report would be written.
6:21 p.m.
Police and first responders were called to Roadrunner, 3111 W. Pine St., where a male individual was locked inside the restroom and overdosed on unknown narcotics. The person regained consciousness after EMS administered two doses of Narcan, and was taken by ambulance to the hospital for medical treatment. The suspected narcotics were photographed and logged into evidence.

Friday, Aug. 28
Officers responded to Ridgecrest Apartments, 724 S. 10th St., for a physical altercation involving three females. The aggressor reportedly showed up uninvited and began throwing blows on one of the victims, who said she didn’t know the girl. The second victim intervened, catching the wrath of the aggressor’s punches. Both victims had physical injuries to their face. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. The ladies refused medical treatment, and were advised of affidavit procedure.

7:25 p.m.
A Robin Lane woman reported vandalism to her car windshield.

Saturday, Aug. 29
12:55 a.m.
Patrolling Central Park on North 10th Street, an officer made contact with a large group of individuals at the pavilion. Smelling marijuana while speaking to them, the officer asked the group if anyone had pot, and one person, 18-year-old Kamarion West, of Texarkana, admitted to having some, producing a grocery sack containing four smaller plastic bags of marijuana weighing a combined total of 15.75 grams. West was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

Monday, Aug. 24
8:14 p.m.
Deputies responded to a Keeling Road residence for a domestic disturbance between a male and female. After observing injuries to both parties — Lewis Andrew Keeling and Amy Renea Eakley, both 48 — and taking their statements, they were arrested for third-degree domestic battery.
Tuesday, Aug. 25
6:50 p.m.
A deputy responded to Moon Valley Road for a report of a vehicle hitting a tree, finding the driver and two other female passengers at the vehicle. The vehicle’s owner arrived and said he hadn’t given anyone permission to use his truck. With no hard evidence to prove otherwise, two occupants were taken into custody after all three were medically cleared at the hospital. The driver, Michelle Marie Howell, 18, of Arkadelphia, was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving without a license, inattentive driving, expired registration and no liability insurance. A passenger, Tara-Beth Elain Roberts, 18, also of Arkadelphia, was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle.
