Henderson St. is the only Great American Conference team to be found within the Top-25. Anderson took the top spot of the GCAA poll with nine first-place votes, followed by West Florida (2), Barry (3), Grand Valley State (4), Oklahoma Christian (5), Lee (6) and Western Washington (7).

Henderson finished off the fall campaign with three outright tournament victories while finishing in a tie for first at the MSSU Fall Invitational before falling in a playoff hole to then-No. 19 Missouri-St. Louis.

Most recently, HSU finished third out of 17 teams at the Tulsa Cup hosted by Rogers St. After being in first on day one, Henderson was edged out by GAC-foe Southwestern Oklahoma State and Northeastern State.

Junior Nathan Cossement earned himself a conference-record four consecutive GAC Golfer of the Week honors, posting Top-10 finishes in all five tournaments he competed in this year, including being crowned the individual champion in the Battle for the Belt and the Arkansas Collegiate.

As a team, the Reddies have four players with stroke averages of 73 or better, with Cossement pacing the quartet at 70.86. Josh McNulty, whose stroke average of 72.43 is second best on the team, has recorded four Top-10 finishes in five events.

No. 8 Henderson State, after being tabbed as the conference favorite heading into the 2022-23 season, will return to the course in the spring and begin the final stretch toward a second straight GAC Championship and 10th consecutive trip to the NCAA Regionals.
