The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Friday, May 5
1:56 a.m.
Officers responded to a North 14th Street residence for an unwanted guest who went on her way after she was advised of the consequences should she return.

Wednesday, May 3
4:35 p.m.
Police responded to the Humane Society of Clark County, 627 Walnut St., for a report of an unwanted guest after business hours. The guest was asked to return the following day during business hours.

5:05 p.m.
A Sonic Drive-In employee reported someone drove into her parked car and left without reporting the accident.

Tuesday, May 2
8:22 p.m.
Destiny Kayliahryshe Curry, 26, was arrested at Elliston Place Apartments, 222 N. 20th St., for communicating a false alarm after police said she made a bogus 911 call. Curry was also given the charge of obstructing governmental operations as she refused to supply the arresting officer with personal information.

Monday, May 1
6:30 a.m.
Dazjoun Lamar Osborne, 27, of Gurdon, was arrested at West Pine Exxon, 3036 Pine St., for third-degree domestic battery following a report of a physical altercation with a female in the parking lot.

6:14 p.m.
An Elliston Place woman phoned 911 to report she had been punched in the eye while outside her apartment. Responding officers found no evidence of injury, and neighbors had not heard of anyone by the suspect’s name.

11:19 p.m.
A Caddo Valley woman reported the theft of $100 cash from her wallet, which she’d inadvertently left in a shopping cart outside Walmart. Surveillance footage showed a male take the purse and get into his vehicle for a moment before taking the purse to an employee inside the store.

Monday, May 1
Jesse H. Black, 24, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Michael Yarbler, 35, was arrested for arson.

Teresa Grigsby, 58, was held for continued detention.

Wednesday, May 3
Jonathon Wessie, 27, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for driving with a suspended license, no liability insurance and two counts of failure to appear.

David Garland, 38, was held for continued detention.

Downing Gregory, 55, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for a parole hold.

Thursday, May 4
Trenton Harper, 22, was arrested by Arkansas State Police for speeding and failure to appear.

James Casey, 32, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to appear and failure to comply.
