The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Arkadelphia Police Department

Tuesday, May 31

12:15 a.m.
Following a traffic stop at North 10th Street and Country Club Road, officers arrested a man for public intoxication.

Police opened a felony case of terroristic threatening.

6 p.m.
Officers were summoned to a residence at the 900 block of Carpenter Street, where a lawn service owner reported a worker caused $2,500 in damages to a mower then walked off the job. The complainant was advised the issue was a civil matter.

Monday, May 30

3:20 p.m.
A Carpenter Hill Apartments man reported being harassed by a known suspect.

Officers worked a welfare concern involving a juvenile.

3:33 p.m.
Officers responded to Walmart for an unruly customer threatening employees who had asked him to stop shaving his head in the bathroom with a razor he had gotten at the store. The customer, described as a white male in his mid-20s wearing a biker vest and toting a banjo (and presumably a partially shaven head), had left the scene on foot. Officers located the man at the I-30 onramp, advised him not to return to Walmart, and gave him a courtesy ride to Prescott.

A woman reported losing her wallet and keys at Walmart on the afternoon of May 27.

Tuesday, May 31

8:15 a.m.
A deputy responded to Fendley Road, Alpine, in reference to a pickup truck that had caused damage to a bridge railing. The unoccupied vehicle was towed from the scene, and the investigating deputy was attempting to make contact with its owner at the time of the report.

2:20 p.m.
A Highway 53, Gurdon, woman reported someone attempted to use her credit card to book a trip to Orlando.

3:14 p.m.
A deputy responded to a child custody dispute at Meeks Run, Okolona.

3:38 p.m.
A Barry Drive woman reported finding fraudulent activity on her husband’s credit card.

Monday, May 30

Casey Jill Crane, 46, was arrested by Gurdon police for a warrant.

Chris Williams, 25, was arrested by Gurdon police for terroristic threatening on a police officer and public intoxication.

Amy D. Coulter, 44, was arrested for failure to appear.

Joshua Derek Pipkin, 32, was arrested by Caddo Valley police and held for continued detention.

Tuesday, May 31

Sargio Diaz, 35, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for public intoxication and driving without a license.

John M. Nichols, 48, was arrested for a warrant.

Richard E. Phillips, 70, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Terry Dewayne Russet, 37, was arrested by Arkadelphia police and held for continued detention.

Joseph Daimin Michael Pettit, 19, was arrested by Caddo Valley police and held for continued detention.

Maddisen Mae Lane-Bristow, 21, was arrested by Caddo Valley police and held for continued detention.

Jarrett Charles Elcher, 29, was arrested by Caddo Valley police and held for continued detention.
