According to the Clark County Clerk’s Office, a total of 392 citizens cast a ballot during the first week of early voting in the primary election.
That’s 3.2 percent of the county’s 12,168 total registered voters.
The clerk’s office reported on its Facebook page that, of the 372 votes cast by end of day Friday, 262 had voted Republican, 101 had voted Democrat and 5 opted for the non-partisan ballot.

Early voting continues Monday at the Arkadelphia Recreation Center, with hours from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., and on Saturday, May 21, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Election Day for the primaries is Tuesday, May 24. The Arkadelphian will publish a list of voting centers as early voting nears its close.
