The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Arkadelphia Police Department

Friday, Oct. 29
1:25 p.m.
A Meadowlark Drive man reported receiving numerous bills from the Texas Department of Education for tolls. The complainant said he’d sold a pickup truck to an unknown individual in July, and had forgotten to remove the license plate from the vehicle.

Saturday, Oct. 30
10:20 p.m.
Officers responded to Cliff Harris Stadium for a report of a vehicle in the ditch. Upon arrival they found the driver standing outside the vehicle.

Sunday, Oct. 31

10:35 p.m.
Officers arrested a man at North 22nd Street for driving while intoxicated.

Police worked a case of endangering the welfare of a minor.

Saturday, Oct. 30
9:30 p.m.
A Lower Dam Pike woman reported receiving harassing text messages from an unknown phone number.

10 p.m.
Deputies arrested a man at the 1400 block of East Whelen Road, Gurdon, for public intoxication. Deputies had responded to the scene after a caller reported someone had wrecked a vehicle in their yard. While there, deputies observed the vehicle on its side, and the driver walked up on the scene and admitted to having been drinking.

Arsenio Buckley, 35, continued detention.
John Michael Nichols, 48, continued detention.
David Journey Spears, 21, continued detention.

Saturday, Oct. 30
Juan F. Alba, 43, was arrested for public intoxication.

Sunday, Oct. 31
Wanya Deshun Keys, 26, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for driving with a suspended license and speeding.
Jathan Sermaine Bowens, 23, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for driving while intoxicated and speeding.
