Celebrate America250 in Arkadelphia with fireworks and fun

No matter where you are in the Arkadelphia area on July 4, you’ll be able to find fun and a community fireworks display in celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary. The Arkadelphia Aquatic Park is promising a full day of fun activities, contests and games at the city pool. An activity will commence every hour from noon until 5 p.m., with trivia contests throughout the day. Activities include a watermelon race, frozen T-shirt contest, hot dog eating contest/saltine challenge, a diving competition, a dad’s-only biggest splash contest, and a slide race. Regional tax auction set for July 16 in Arkadelphia

Arkansas Commissioner of State Lands Tommy Land announced the upcoming auction of tax-delinquent parcels located in Clark, Dallas, Nevada and Ouachita Counties on July 16, 2026. The regional auction begins at 10 a.m. and will be held at the Garrison Activity Center Banquet Room, located at 1045 McKnight Drive on the Henderson State University campus in Arkadelphia.
