The driver, 18-year-old Keshawen Michael Summerville, of Arkadelphia, admitted to having pot in the vehicle but was evasive about its whereabouts. Asked to retrieve it, Summerville dug around in the vehicle but came out empty-handed. As Summerville had grasped at his waistband when the officer approached, and with the officer’s knowledge of him possessing firearms, he was instructed to turn around to be patted down for weapons. It was then that Summerville ran away in a southwest direction, entering a wooded area at 2nd and Clay streets.
