Sammy Dan McClain, age 67, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. He was born July 31, 1958, in Arkadelphia, the son of the late Charles Larry and Royce Dean Ezell McClain.
Danny was a retired analyst for Scroll Technologies. He was a member of Manchester United Methodist Church. Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping in his free time.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Danny is survived by his wife, Candie Gail (McCaskill) McClain of Arkadelphia, two sons, Caleb McClain (Megan) of Benton and Dillon McClain (Brittany) of Benton, one sister, Debbie McClain Golden (Allen) of Caddo Valley, five grandchildren, Sam, Perri, Zoey, Ellasyn and Silas, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Manchester United Methodist Church with Pastor Tammy Harrell officiating.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Manchester United Methodist Church.
