Real Estate: 8 properties change ownership in Clark County

Clark County real estate transactions recorded May 8-21, 2026, having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names. A variety of factors, including improvements made to a home or property, are considered in real estate prices that may increase from when the seller bought the property.

Highlighting this round of real estate transactions is the $357,925 sale of a 1,720-SF home and 5 acres on Caddo Valley’s East Dodson Road. Rickey Gage and Brandie Taylor are buying the property from Real Sales & Development Inc., which bought the land only in 2025 for $25,000. Real Sales & Development is registered to Deborah Brakebill, of Malvern.

Adason and Christopher Thornton are buying a 2,260-SF brick home at the 1800 block of Millcreek Road, Arkadelphia, for $285,000. Sellers are Paul Franks and Janet Gwynne, of Rockport, who bought the place in 2004 for $113,000.

Amyera Jones and Xavier Jones are buying a 2,371-SF brick home at the 1000 block of Evergreen Drive, Arkadelphia, for $299,990. Kevin Johnson bought the place in 2014 for $195,000. In turn, Amyera Jones sold her 1,470-SF home at the 900 block of Pine Street, Gurdon, to Kristopher Bass for $150,000.

Christopher Murry and Christopher Gardner-Murry, et al, are buying a 1,470-SF home at the 2400 block of Forrest Park Drive, Arkadelphia, for $270,000. Former owners Jobe and Jane Harvey bought the place in 2001 for $150,000.

In a $150,000 deal, Noe Moreno is buying a 720-SF home and two adjacent lots at the 500 block of North 16th Street, Arkadelphia. Previous owners Randy and Lori Stewart bought the property in 2006 for $28,000.

In the Central community, a home at 77 McNeely Road changed hands by way of special warranty deed. The Secretary of Housing & Urban Development of Georgia acquired the 1,288-SF brick home and 3 acres from the Alabama Housing Finance Authority in a $138,616 transaction.

Off of Red Hill Road, Entergy Arkansas LLC bought 9 acres of timber from Kevin and Heidi Jester for $125,000. The property is west of and adjacent to an Entergy transmission line right-of-way.
