SNAPSHOTS: 2026 Duck Derby
The 2026 Duck Derby Festival, a fundraiser supporting the Percy and Donna Malone Child Safety Center, was held Saturday, April 11, at the Lower Lake Recreation Area. Here’s a look at the event. Duck Derby sponsors showed out in a big way.
Duck themed games kept the kids busy all day. Many of the games were donated by Second Baptist Church of Arkadelphia.
Gaga-ball inflatable pit was a hit.
Dr. Derrick Ross took the plunge as part of the Duck Derby fun, not backing down from the cold water.
Mayor Scott Byrd followed suit, stepping up and embracing the moment right alongside the crowd. The dunking booth event made $107 for the PDMCSC.
Lucky Duck waddled over to check out the Duck Duck Jeep Show. This first year addition to the Derby was a success; turning heads and bringing a little extra fun to Duck Derby. This portion of the event made $880 for the children served at PDMCSC.
Many raffle tickets were sold before and during the gaming events and grossed the PDMCSC $1,175! Check our page for the winners.
Beene’s Towing kept the kids busy with their swing setup.
Patterson Credit Union had the ticket booth covered at this cashless event.
Two canoes full of rubber ducks were dumped into the Caddo River and sent racing to the finish line. The Ducks purchased made $12,040 for the children served by PDMCSC.
