Clark County real estate transactions recorded Sept. 26 through Oct. 9, 2025, having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names. A variety of factors, including improvements made to a home or property, are considered in real estate prices that may increase from when the seller bought the property.
Highlighting this round of real estate transactions is the $660,000 sale of a homesite at the 1600 block of DeGray Road. Roy and Barbara Helton bought a 1,950-SF home on the 60-acre spread of pasture from Kenneth and Carolyn Dixon, of Sheridan.
A 1,688-SF brick home at the 2700 block of Mockingbird Lane, Arkadelphia, sold for $256,000 to Grace and James McKim III. Sellers Jennifer Mitchell and Daniel Davis, of Bismarck, acquired the property in March by way of quitclaim deed.
Off of Highway 53 between Gurdon and Whelen Springs, a 1,430-SF mobile home and 41 acres of timber on Purifoy Road sold for $250,000 to Jeremy Cooper. Seller James Walker, of Hot Springs, acquired the property in 2018 by way of quitclaim deed.
In rural southeastern Clark County, 160 acres of timber sold for $225,000 to Horizon Capital Partners LLLP, an Arkadelphia company registered to Ross Whipple. The acreage, located west of McMath Road near the Vaden community, had belonged to McMillan Incorporated, a Martin, Tennesee, company registered to Kevin McMillan. In a separate deed, The Ross Foundation acquired 120 acres of timber from McMillan Inc. for a $175,000 price tag.
A 1,766-SF home on Westmont Circle, Arkadelphia, sold for $205,000 to Thomas Miller. Sellers are Michael and Kevin Schmitz, co-trustees of the Helen Schmitz Revocable Family Trust. The property had been in the Schmitz family since they bought it in 1988 for $53,000.
South of Old Military Road and east of Hobgood Road, 41 acres of timber sold for $184,995 to Josiah and Tori Hartley. Selling the property is Alonzo Inc.; signing off on the property was Wes Reeder of the company.
A 1,176-SF brick home at the 1000 block of South 13th Street, Arkadelphia, sold for $125,000 to Reggie and Claudia Speights. Sellers Kevin and Rebecca Moss, of Amity, acquired the property in 2024 by way of quitclaim deed.
A 832-SF brick home at the 500 block of Mt. Zion Road sold for $120,000 to Christopher and Joanne Shaw. Sellers Jayson and Faith Watts, of Hot Springs, bought the place in 2022 for $79,000.
In the far northern tip of the county, on Highway 84, 36 acres of timber sold for $100,000 to GM3 Ventures LLC, a North Little Rock registered to Angie Herring. Seller is Mitchell Stewart Griffin Developments LLC, registered to Andrew Griffin of Arkadelphia. Griffin retains 63 acres of the original 100-acre tract.
