Real Estate: Caddo Valley motel changes ownership in $1.3M deal

Clark County real estate transactions recorded Oct. 20 through Nov. 8 having a value of $100,000 or greater

Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names.

Highlighting this round of real estate transactions is the $1.34 million sale of the Econo Lodge motel located at 150 Valley St., Caddo Valley. The Dels Inc., registered to Mark Bertel Jr., of Mountain Home, bought the 43,280-SF facility and 3.12 acres from Rupsa Enterprise of Arkadelphia Inc., registered to Ruma Khatun, of Lufkin, Texas. Khatun bought the motel in 2020 for $1 million.

For $1,035,000 JMRW Properties LLC bought a series of Arkadelphia apartment complexes near Country Club Road and North 26th Street from Randy and Lori Stewart. Richard Womack is the manager of JMRW Properties. The properties include 4 Ashbury Court and 1103 N. 26th St.

Rodney Hurst and Mitchell Pennington purchased 52.9 acres of mixed pasture and timber at Highway 51 and Interstate 30, northeast of the Okolona exit. Previous owner Howard Prince bought the land in 2012 for $106,000.

For $375,000 Johnny and Morgan Yarbrought bought a 1,056-SF frame siding home and 23.32 acres of timber at Oak Grove Road, in the Fendley community. Previous owners Mark and Robin Blankenship bought the property in 2020 for $131,000.

Jason and Chelsea Larkin purchased a pair of single-family dwellings and 2.37 acres at 424 Mt. Zion Road for $285,000. The property includes a 2,690-SF brick home and a 1,708-SF frame siding home. Previous owner was Faithful PCM LLC, which purchased the property in September for $275,000. Faithful PCM is registered to Carah Hanley, of Hot Springs.

For $200,000 Matthew Thompson bought 1.17 acres of land on Mayridge Road, located south of Highway 51. The land joins Thompson’s existing acreage south of the property, which was previously owned by Ken and Pamela Rowe, et al.

Sidney and Mary Allemand purchased a 1,344-SF mobile home and 11.48 acres on Shiloh Road near its junction with Bateman Road, for $186,000. Previous owners were Stanley and Solymar Wilson, whose family bought the property in 2010 for $72,000.

For $185,000 Trent Fronte bought a 1,336-SF frame siding home and 2.5 acres at the 2900 block of Highway 53 South, in Gurdon. Previous owners Christopher and Charlotte Watson bought the property in June for $5,000.

Nathan and Kara Spurbeck purchased a 1,620-SF brick home at the 1900 block of O’Connell Street, in Arkadelphia, for $175,000. Previous owners Hunter and Kaitlyn McKinnon bought the property in 2021 for $105,000.

For $160,000 Richard Denny abd Sharon Hamilton bought a 2,308-SF brick home on Phelps Circle, in Arkadelphia. Previous owners Bryan and Melanie DeBusk bought the property in 2010 for $146,000.

Chester and Harriett Clark purchased 15.5 acres of pasture on Hill Road, in Amity, for $158,480. The land is adjacent to existing land the Clarks own. Previous owner Keli Mount bought the property for $20,000 in 1991.

For $155,000 GKB Interests LLC, registered to Abby Maroon, of Houston, Texas, bought 35.59 acres of timberland at Terrell Road and Toby Lane, in the DeGray community. Previous owners Michael and Patti Miley bought the property in 2003 for $54,000.

Ouachita Properties Development Co. LLC purchased a 1,602-SF frame siding home at 915 McNutt St., in Arkadelphia, for $140,000. Ouachita Properties is registered to Jason Tolbert of Arkadelphia. Previous owner Stephen Jones bought the property in 2019 for $90,000.

For $100,000 Hunter and December Davis bought 30.95 acres of timberland on Rice Road, located northeast of the Antoine River. Previous owners Deven and Hannah Horn bought the property in 2022 for $83,000.
