Real Estate: A dozen properties change ownership in Clark County

Clark County real estate transactions recorded April 4-17, 2025 having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names. A variety of factors, including improvements made to a home or property, are considered in real estate prices that may increase from when the seller bought the property.

Highlighting this round of real estate transactions is the $405,000 sale of a 2,805-SF frame siding home to Richard Jason Hunt and spouse Heather. The Hunts bought the Central Road home and 3 acres from Scott Nelson’s Greenleaf Partners LLC, which picked the place up in 2022 for $90,000. In the Alpine community, John and Wendy Keeler, of Rapid City, South Dakota, bought a 1,306-SF home at the 600 block of Hickman Road. The Keelers bought the home and 32-acre spread from Rose and Raymond (deceased) Hill.

The Amity-based Skyline Partnership, registered to managing partners Robert Doster, et al, bought 160 acres of forest sandwiched between Skipper Creek Road and Clear Creek Road in the remote western hills of Clark County. Previous owner of the property was the Delaware-based American Timberland LLC, registered in Little Rock to Jefferson Mayo.

Seth Dutton bought a 2,336-SF brick home on Pinewood Drive, Arkadelphia, for $215,000. Previous owner Kerri McKinney bought the place in 2014 for $143,000.

For $175,000 Brandon and Tiffany McClure bought a 1,536-SF frame siding home and 3 acres at the 3600 block of Arkansas Highway 26 West, Hollywood. Previous owner Rhonda Parker picked the place up in 2023 for $183,000.

In the Fendley community, Victor and Dawn Mendez bought a 1,752-SF frame siding home and 1.27 acres at the 1300 block of Fendley Road for $160,000. Previous owner Lezly Christiana-Martinez bought the property in 2019 for $90,000.

Paul and Shannon Flowers, of Shreveport, Louisiana, bought a 2,752-SF A-frame log cabin at the 100 block of Sugar Loaf Road, north of Amity, for a $159,900 price tag. Signing over the deed was the Wilmington Savings Fund Society, et al. Previous owner Charles Jackson bought the 13-acre spread in 2016 for $210,000.

In Gurdon, Spencer and Celeste Collins bought a 1,386-SF brick-and-frame home at the 200 block of Phillips Drive for $159,000. Previous owners Zulema Cortes and Luis Trejo bought the place in 2018 for $38,000.

Wrapping up this real estate report is the $129,000 sale of forestland south of Hendrix and Monkey roads. Dissected by Terre Noire Creek, the 200 acres sold to Jacob and Christina Duke of TEXarkana. Selling the acreage was Kenneth Adams, successor of the Clarence Adams Trust, of Oregon.
