De Queen freshman crowned 2025 Miss HSU

Jaide Tatum, a freshman Health & Human Performance major from De Queen, was crowned 2025 Miss Henderson State University Sunday, Jan. 26, at the 65th annual pageant.

Felicity Frushour, a junior nursing major from Texarkana, Texas, was named first runner-up, and Katie Batts, a sophomore aviation management major from Shreveport, Louisiana, was second runner-up.

The competition categories included private interview, health & fitness, talent, on-stage question, and evening gown. The pageant is a preliminary event for Miss Arkansas.

– Overall Evening Wear – Jaide Tatum

– Spirit of Miss HSU – Ryleigh Nitzke

– Community Service Award – Zaniyah Thompson

– Overall Academic Award – Alexandra Bice

– Dawn Coffman Miss Congeniality Award – Felicity Frushour

– People’s Choice – McKenzie Sanders

– Haven Hughes Impact Award – McKenzie Sanders
