Delta-born author, scholar, poet and storyteller Robert Arnold will speak at the Arkadelphia Family Enrichment Community Center, 301 N. 23rd St., at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026.
Arnold, who hails from Helena-West Helena, is the author of “Defiance til Death,” “A Republic If You Can Keep It,” “Southern Man,” and “The Kingdom is not a Border,” as well as numerous other essays, poems and speeches. Arnold’s projects span political commentary, cultural criticism, historical analysis and deeply personal storytelling.
