Real Estate: 7 Clark County properties change hands

Clark County real estate transactions recorded Dec. 2-13, 2024, having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names. A variety of factors, including improvements made to a home or property, are considered in real estate prices that may increase from when the seller bought the property.

The top sale in this round of real estate transactions was the exchange of an Arkadelphia home at the 100 block of North 6th Street. Austin and Jillian King sold their 2,544-SF frame siding house to Casey and Ean Robinson for a $380,000 price tag. The Kings acquired the home in 2014 for $9,000.

Jeffrey Ebel bought a 1,250-SF frame siding home at the 300 block of Richwoods Road (Gum Springs) for $285,000. The home and 6.12-acre spread were sold by Christopher and Charlotte Watson, who bought the property earlier this year for $50,000.

In a $208,000 exchange, Danny and Christy Winston sold their 1,530-SF brick home at Holly Oak Drive (Arkadelphia) to Micah and Brier Wyatt. The Winstons bought the place in 2004 for $96,000.

Dusty McMillan bought a 1,648-SF frame siding home and 5 acres at Boyce Road (Gurdon) for $188,500. Previous owners Kevin and Alesa Sims bought the property for $74,000 in 2011.

Phillip and Briana Freeman sold a 1,436-SF frame siding home on a half-acre lot at the 1100 block of South 26th Street (Arkadelphia) to Jacob West in a $182,000 deal. The Freemans bought the place for $173,000 in 2022.

In a $130,000 deal, Phillip and Tammy Rowen, et al, bought three parcels of land totaling 17.45 acres from Billy and Debbie Kibbey. Online records do not reflect the transaction. The Kibbeys own 24 acres of land on Dearman Road off of Highway 84, in the same section/township/range in north Clark County.

Rounding out the latest real estate transactions was the $108,000 sale of a 1,592-SF brick home at the 800 block of South 24th Street (Arkadelphia). Lisa Gower and Amie Ivy bought the place from Carolyn and Lawrence Jackson Jr., who bought it for $66,000 in 1997.
