The City of Arkadelphia’s Sanitation Department is hosting its semiannual trash bag pickup event at the Recreation Center on Dec. 18-20, 2024.
The drive-thru style event will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at the Arkadelphia Recreation Center, 2555 Twin Rivers Dr. Pickup will be daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The semiannual event will end at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20.
Residents who do not attend the pickup event at the Recreation Center will have six weeks to visit the Sanitation Department to pick up their trash bags. The Sanitation Department is located at 267 Hemphill Road in Arkadelphia. Their hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The December voucher will expire on Jan. 31, 2025.
Residents can purchase trash bags from the Sanitation Department year-
round. Trash bags can be purchased at the Sanitation Department for $10.
