Donna Sue Mauldin, age 81, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at CHI St. Vincent Medical Center in Hot Springs. She was born October 1, 1942, in Clark County, the daughter of the late Arthur Don and Florice Shepherd Trammel.
Donna attended Friendship High School. She worked as a seamstress at Levi’s for many years. Donna attended Twin Rivers Church of the Nazarene in Caddo Valley. She enjoyed sewing, playing Bingo and camping in her free time.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Olen Mauldin, two sisters, Angela Coppedge and Floretta Keeling, two brothers, Kenny Wayne Trammel and Danny Trammel.
Survivors are one son, Dennis Mauldin of Arkadelphia, two daughters, Bonnie Johnston (Ed) of Arkadelphia, and Shonda Neff (Gary) of Arkadelphia, one sister, Gale Brown (Ron) of Detroit, MI, four grandchildren, Nicole Hale, Deanna Hughes, Elick Neff and Shawn Neff and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday September 25, 2024, at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Harold Mauldin officiating. Visitation will start at 10:00 AM until service time.
Interment will be in Gilchrist Cemetery at Friendship.
Pallbearers are Michael Hughes, Erik Johnston, Wesley Hale, Adrian Hale, Elick Neff and Gary Neff.
