Dearld Hall, age 75, of Amity, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 23, 2024, at his home. He was born March 14, 1949, in Dumas, the son of the late John Dee and Annie Taylor Hall.
Dearld was a graduate of Watson High School. He worked for Synergy Gas and Thermogas during his career as a store manager. Dearld was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Arkadelphia. He enjoyed deer and turkey hunting and fishing in his free time.
Dearld was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Sheila Hall Knapp, two brothers, Gerald Hall and Curtis Hall.
Survivors are his wife Rhonda Boyd Hall of Amity, one daughter, Sharron Routh (Jerry) of Nashville, one brother, Alvin Hall (Pam) of El Paso, AR, one sister, Anna Rios (Dennis), four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Johnny McAnally officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Thursday until service time at the church.
Interment will be at 1:00 PM Friday, September 27, 2024, at Baxley Cemetery at Paris.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
