The Arkadelphia Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce is compiling and promoting a list of all local events celebrating the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse.
“Our goal is to help residents and visitors alike experience the full wonder of our community,” the chamber said of the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
One day ahead of the April 8 eclipse the chamber will host the Solar Sunday Spectacular, similar to the annual Holiday Open House, in which all are invited to shop local, enjoy special deals and “soak in the festive atmosphere.”
More eclipse-related events are expected to come as the list builds.
“We invite you to bookmark arkadelphiaalliance.com/eclipse and visit regularly as we get closer to the eclipse date,” the chamber said on social media. “Updates and new event listings will be added to ensure you have the latest information at your fingertips.”
Those hosting an event are encouraged to submit details at bit.ly/eclipseeventcc by Friday, March 22.
