Arkadelphia man dies in Highway 67 rollover

A one-vehicle accident in rural Clark County claimed the life of an Arkadelphia, Arkansas man

An Arkadelphia driver lost his life Tuesday evening on Highway 67 after losing control of his vehicle.

Ollie J. Robinson, 75, of Arkadelphia, was traveling south on US Highway 67 in a 2000 Toyota when he veered off the roadway and into a ditch where it overturned on the west side of the highway, according to an Arkansas State Police preliminary fatal crash summary.

The accident happened near the intersection of Rolling Hills Road north of the Midway community. Robinson was transported to Baptist Health Medical Center in Arkadelphia, where he was later pronounced deceased. His body was taken to Williams Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.

The crash happened at 9:47 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, under clear skies. Investigating state Trooper Seth Smedley noted dry road conditions at the time of the accident.
