The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Monday, Feb. 5
Police investigated a second-degree battery at an undisclosed location.
Tuesday, Feb. 6
An officer worked a disorderly conduct incident involving a juvenile.
1:30 p.m.
An Austin, Arkansas, woman reported the theft of a license plate from her vehicle, possibly while it was in for service at a local dealership. Contact was made with the dealership but the plate could not be found.
Wednesday, Feb. 7
Officers took an “information only” report involving a juvenile.
Police investigated a second-degree sexual assault at the 2800 block of Pine Street.
Police opened a case of sexual extortion that involved a juvenile.
3:40 p.m.
A woman phoned police to report a burglary at her incarcerated son’s residence at Carpenter Hill Apartments, 670 S. 6th St., after driving by and witnessing the door ajar. Police entered the residence to find it in disarray. The Housing Authority responded to secure the residence.
An officer worked a third-degree battery incident involving a juvenile.
Thursday, Feb. 8
Police investigated an aggravated assault at an undisclosed location.
8:38 p.m.
A resident of Pioneer Inn, 115 N. 10th St., reported a known female extorted him out of $1,000 cash and his EBT card.
Friday, Feb. 9
Juvenile: disorderly conduct.
Felony: 1st-degree terroristic threatening, undisclosed location.
8:25 p.m.
Colton Jeffrey Pipkin, 29, of Arkadelphia, was arrested for disorderly conduct and calling 911 for the purpose of making a false alarm. Officers were summoned to Pipkin’s residence at Pine Court Apartments after receiving numerous 911 calls from a man, who said he was the “only white guy” at the complex, reporting shots were fired. Police asked other residents but no one had heard any gunshots. Meanwhile a white male got into a vehicle and drove east on Caddo Street. Police caught up with the person, later identified as Pipkin, at 10th and Huddleston streets, to further question him about the shots being fired. The arresting officer noted that Pipkin was irate, cursing and stripped to his underwear at the time of his arrest.
Saturday, Feb. 10
11:40 p.m.
Farrah Leandra Buckley, 37, of Arkadelphia, was arrested at the 500 block of South 16th Street for DWI following an officer’s response to a wrecked vehicle in the ditch.
Sunday, Feb. 11
1:27 p.m.
Officers recovered a stolen license plate from an unoccupied vehicle on Wade Street, where a resident reported it had been parked in the roadway since Friday. The driver was nowhere to be found. Investigators were made aware of the vehicle, which police left in its parked position.
Police investigated an aggravated robbery on Caddo Street.
Monday, Feb. 12
Felony: possession of a firearm by a certain person, 200 block of Hemphill Road.

12:49 a.m.
Deputies responded to a disturbance involving a juvenile at Highway 67 South in Gurdon.
12:01 p.m.
Mechanical vandalism was reported to a tractor on Curtis Road.
Thursday, Feb. 9
2:20 p.m.
A Rolling Hills Road, Gum Springs, woman reported a semi truck was stuck in her yard. A deputy made contact with the driver, who said he was en route to the county industrial park when his navigation system led him astray. A towing company was called to remove the vehicle from the complainant’s yard.
3:23 p.m.
A Bledsoe Road woman reported more than $7,600 was fraudulently withdrawn from her bank account after her financial information had been compromised. It was learned that she had made a contribution to a health organization whose system had been hacked.

A deputy took a report of harassment at Meeks Road, Okolona.
