The Arkadelphia Regional Economic Development Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce is continuing its commitment to supporting the small business and entrepreneurial community through a new partnership with the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) providing on-site small business consulting services in Clark County.

Beginning in July 2025, a dedicated ASBTDC business consultant will be available on-site at the Arkadelphia Alliance and Chamber office on the second Thursday of each month (July 10, Aug. 14, Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 13, and Dec. 11), offering free, confidential consulting for both existing small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. This initiative is part of a strategic effort to support and strengthen the local entrepreneurial ecosystem with consistent, accessible business guidance.

To accommodate entrepreneurs and small business owners, the ASBTDC consultant will be available for pre-scheduled appointments. In addition to monthly on-site sessions, the consultant will continue to work virtually with local clients between visits.

This hybrid model ensures ongoing support for individuals developing business plans, financial projections, marketing strategies, and more.

“We’re thrilled to bring this level of support directly to Clark County’s business community,” said Shelley Short, President and CEO of the Arkadelphia Alliance. “This partnership with ASBTDC is a proactive step in creating a thriving environment for small businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs throughout our community.”

The Arkadelphia Alliance believes that regular, hands-on consulting combined with virtual continuity will provide entrepreneurs with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to overcome challenges and seize new opportunities for growth.

“ASBTDC is committed to meeting entrepreneurs where they are, and this partnership is a perfect example of that mission in action,” said Laura Fine, State Director of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center. “By bringing our consulting services directly to Arkadelphia, we’re giving Clark County business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs easy access to expert guidance to help them start and grow their companies. We are proud to support the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit of this community and look forward to helping local businesses thrive.”
