The person killed in a Saturday night shooting on Greene Street in Magnolia has been identified as Chariot Ieshia Hildreth, 29, of Magnolia

Hildreth died at the scene. Magnolia Police Chief Todd Dew said two other persons were wounded in the shooting and taken to out-of-town hospitals for treatment. Their identities have not been released.

The shooting was reported at about 11:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at 1214 Greene St., Magnolia.

Many people were attending a party at the house when gunfire broke out. Dew said it’s not clear how many people fired shots, but that there may have been more than one gunman. It’s not yet known what prompted the gunfire, he said.
