The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Monday, Oct. 23
5:17 p.m.
An apartment dweller at 2551 Country Club Road reported someone entered her unattended vehicle. She noticed the driver’s seat had been moved and and the glove compartment was opened. The burglar took nothing from the vehicle, but did leave behind some cigarette ash.
Theft of a firearm was reported at Carriage Place.
Tuesday, Oct. 24
Theft of a motor vehicle was reported at the 500 block of South 10th Street.
3:50 p.m.
A woman reported her ex had been harassing and following her.
Officers responded to an aggravated assault of a household member at the 1000 block of South 15th Street.
Wednesday, Oct. 25
10:37 a.m.
A Millcreek Drive woman reported someone used her Social Security number to open two Entergy accounts in Houston, Texas, and racked up more than $1,200 in outstanding balances.
Theft of a firearm was reported at the 600 block of South 15th Street.
3:38 p.m.
An officer took a delayed report of a hit-and-run fender bender that happened at Walmart.
4 p.m.
Carmella Aviance Beard, 47, and Donald Williams, 57, were arrested at 1805 Caddo St. for public intoxication. Officers were summoned to that residence when Beard phoned 911 to report Williams was armed with a bat and that she feared for her life. Upon arrival, the arresting officer noted the pair were drinking and sitting near each other on the front porch with not apparent signs of an altercation having taken place.
Thursday, Oct. 26
Officers investigated a felony property theft and an unlisted address.
Friday, Oct. 27
Officers investigated a vehicle breaking or entering at 120 N. 11th St.
9:41 p.m.
Jimmy Lee Render, 57, of Los Angeles, was cited at Ouachita Valley Meats, 2859 Walnut St., for criminal mischief, no insurance and failure to obey a traffic control device following a complaint of a truck driver who caused damage to the sod and curb while pulling into the parking lot.
Saturday, Oct. 28
3:20 p.m.
An officer took a report of an altercation between two roommates at Nightingale Nursing Home, 2701 Twin Rivers Dr.
4:15 p.m.
Marcelino Cabriales, 59, of Hope, was arrested at the Shell station, 3111 W. Pine St., for DWI. Officers were summoned to that location for a report of an intoxicated driver. An I-30 motorist following Cabriales showed officers a video of his erratic driving before he exited the interstate at Arkadelphia, nearly hitting other vehicles on Pine Street.
Officers investigated a breaking or entering at Millcreek Apartments, 1605 Welch St.
9:18 p.m.
A North 16th Street man reported a known female violated a no-contact order by being at his home. Upon further review of the order, the responding officer learned it was the female who held the order against the male. The complainant was advised of how to obtain the proper order, and the female — there to visit another female friend — was told it wasn’t a good idea to be around the man if she has an order against him.

5:12 a.m.
Stacy Elaine Warner, 40, of Arkadelphia, was arrested at a Forrest Park Drive residence for third-degree domestic battery following a complaint and subsequent investigation of a physical altercation between Warner and a male resident.

7:30 a.m.
A deputy was summoned to a residence at the 1200 block of South 3rd Street for a complaint of a dog bite. A man said he suffered a bite while trying to break up a dog fight between his pet and another canine.
