John Robert Allen, age 70, of Delight, passed from this life on Thursday October 26, 2023, at Murfreesboro Rehab and Nursing. He was born on June 17, 1953, in Delight, the son of the late Ted and Gerri Tollison Allen.

John served in the United States Air Force. He was a retired hatchery machine operator at Tyson Foods. John was a member of Delight First Assembly of God. He enjoyed collecting guns and reading in his free time.

John is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Steven Allen, and one sister Cathy McKinnon.

Survivors are his wife, Pam Malone-Allen, one stepson, Kevin Malone (Nanette), one stepdaughter, Robin Scott, one niece, Stephanie Foltz (Allen), two nephews, Jonathan Allen and Walker Lyons, three step-grandchildren, Trey Scott, Caleb Scott, and Mckinsey Ramos (Miseal). 

Graveside services were held Monday, October 30, 2023, at Delight Cemetery with Rev. Dwight Craig officiating.
