The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Wednesday, June 28
Police opened a forgery investigation at Winner’s Circle, 104 N. 10th St.

Police investigated a residential burglary at Pine and 15th streets.

Tuesday, June 27
2:53 p.m.
Raekwon Rashun Tate, 23, of Arkadelphia, was arrested in the parking lot of Millcreek Apartments, 1627 Welch St., for driving with a suspended license. The arrest came after complaints from a woman who said she was being followed in the area of Gresham Street.

Monday, June 26
Police investigated an aggravated robbery on Welch Street.

Police took a report of financial identity fraud.

Police investigated the theft of property between $1,000-$5,000 from a building at the 3000 block of Pine Street.

10:49 a.m.
Officers took a report of a broken window at Elliston Place Apartments, 222 N. 20th St.

Thursday, June 29
2:30 a.m.
A deputy responded to the Arkansas Human Development Center, 1 Prator Dr., for a complaint that a lost truck driver damaged several things on the campus, causing an unknown amount of property damage to several buildings. The driver said he made a wrong turn trying to get onto I-30. He was given a citation for reckless driving.

8:30 p.m.
Deputies responded to Ozan Point campground for a report of an intoxicated camper fighting with people in his party. A deputy noted the suspect was bleeding from the head, apparently from falling on rocks during his drunken outrage of swinging a chair at the other campers, who suffered minor defense wounds. The suspect was treated at a Hot Springs hospital for treatment to his head injuries, and the responding deputy was to file for an affidavit for the man’s arrest upon his release from the hospital.

12:09 p.m.
Mary Delores Franklin, 44, was arrested at a McNabb Road, Okolona, residence for criminal trespass following a report that she was beating on the complainant’s door and making threats. The arresting deputy made contact with Franklin at a camper on the property and inquired why she was knocking at the person’s door. Franklin said she was trying to return a pickle jar, and was arrested given that she had been warned the week prior to stay off the property.

Thursday, June 22
7 p.m.
Nuisance dogs were reported at a Burrow Road residence. The owner was cited for violating a county ordinance.

Wednesday, June 21
2 a.m.
Deputies responded to the 74 eastbound mile-marker at I-30 for an accident involving a semi and a passenger vehicle. No injuries were noted in the report.

4 p.m.
A motorist reported she had been side-swiped by a UPS driver near the intersection of Vaden and Shakertown roads. Information was taken from both parties. A deputy made contact with the UPS driver at Curtis Road and US 67. The driver said he was unaware that he had hit another vehicle. The other driver said she followed him to a stop and confronted him, and that he inspected the damage before getting in the truck and driving away.

5 p.m.
Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at a Marvin Doster Road, Amity, residence. No arrest was made.
