Marjorie Lourene Clark Wingfield, age 95, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia.  She was born October 13, 1927, in the Center Ridge Community, the daughter of the late Tom and Ola Kendrick Clark. 

Marjorie was a 1945 graduate of Gurdon High School.  She was a retired homemaker and member of South Fork Baptist Church.  Marjorie enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening and visiting with family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David Wingfield, one brother, Robert Lee Clark and one great-granddaughter, Mikah Wingfield.

Marjorie is survived by one daughter, Belinda Whitlock of Gurdon, two sons, Jimmy Wingfield (Jeanie) of Mountain Home and Jerry Wingfield (Patty) of Friendship, one sister, Nancy Summar (Hollis)  of Arkadelphia, seven grandchildren, Jason Whitlock, Kerri Ross (Rusty), Maria Dillon (Mark), Julie Hughes (Ike), Paula Gardner (Lance), Mike Wingfield (Katrina) and Jeremy Wingfield, and ten great-grandchildren.  

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Center Grove Methodist Church with Pastor Rusty Ross officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday at the church.

Interment will be in Center Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jason Whitlock, Brady Whitlock, John David Ross, Ike Hughes, Mike Wingfield, Jeremy Wingfield and Lance Gardner.
