Kenneth Earl Hughes, age 67, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at his home.  He was born December 29, 1955, in Arkadelphia, the son of the late Harrison and Erline Chitwood Hughes. 

Kenneth was a graduate of Arkadelphia High School.  He was the owner and operator of KETA Trucking Company.  Kenneth enjoyed riding motorcycles with friends and playing with his grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Earl and Ida Belle Chitwood and John and Lora Hughes.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Kim Penney Hughes of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Shayna Walker of Nahunta, GA, four sons, Joseph Paull (Aleshia) of Friendship, Sean Hughes (Shannon) of Texas, Thomas Hughes (Amanda) of Little Rock and Nick Hughes of Little Rock, ten grandchildren, Abigail Howard, Kaelyn Howard, Tanner Ryals, Oaklynn Paull, Emma Hunt, Heather Hughes, Devin Hughes, Paige Hughes, Karson Hughes and Zane Hughes.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
