ARKADELPHIA — After posting 40 wins for the first time in program history, Henderson State finished the season ranked No. 21 in the final DII Collegiate Baseball poll.
The Reddies (40-17) opened the 2022 season with 14-straight victories — a new school record — and never looked back. HSU went on to go 23-10 in conference play and finished as runners-up at the GAC Tournament in Hot Springs. Henderson advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the second-straight year and won two games before bowing out in the Central Regional 2 Championship game.
HSU will return a strong core of veterans next season as it aims for three-consecutive trips to the NCAA Regionals, including first baseman Greyson Stevens, second baseman Kaden Argenbright, third baseman Dillon Thomas and utility pitcher Cade Tucker.
