Henderson making transition in marketing and communications leadership

Henderson State University is making a transition within its marketing and communications team that is said to “strengthen alignment with institutional priorities and support continued momentum across campus,” the university announced.

As part of this transition, Henderson has added the marketing and communications team within the Office of University Advancement. Josh Kee will continue to serve as vice chancellor of advancement and executive director of the HSU Foundation.

The university has launched a national search for a senior director of marketing and communications to provide for this area, a position most recently held by Tina Hall.

In the interim, Steve Fellers, director of creative services, will serve as interim director of marketing and communications. The university extends appreciation for his willingness to serve in this role during the transition.

These changes were effective Jan. 19, 2026.
