Coaches at Arkadelphia High School are organizing a golf event in hopes to raise funds for the golf and boys basketball teams.

Calling it the first annual Ken Duke Badger Classic, the May 6 event will be held at DeGray Lake Resort Golf Course and will include cash prizes. 

With a 9 a.m. tee time, registration and warmups for the four-person scramble may begin as early as 7:30 a.m. There will be long-drive, closest-to-the-hole and hole-in-one prizes.

Support opportunity levels range from $100 to $1,500 and include participant entry and company signage at various places.

“Come out and have fun while supporting our high school student athletes,” said coach Garrett Garner.
