The Clark County Retired Teachers (CCRTA) had a memorial service for members who passed away during the past two years.  Their service to the teaching profession and the lives they touched were remembered.

Donations were taken for the Donna and Percy Malone Child Safety Center. Many requested items and $95 were presented to the center to be used to ease the pain of troubled children.

The Clark County Retired Teachers Association was pleased to assist the Malone Child Safety Center with items that they can use to ease the suffering of children and teens who have been abused.
Stephanie Hrabal, executive director of the center, accepts the CCRTA donations from Veda Goodyear and Nellene Roberts.

Plans were made to go to the District Area IV Retired Teachers meeting in Texarkana May 3. The state ARTA meeting will be June 14 in Benton.
