ARKADELPHIA — Henderson State receiver L’liott Curry picked up his third First Team All-American honor of the 2021 season on Sunday night when he was selected to D2Football.com’s Elite 100, which recognized the Top-100 players in NCAA DII football.

Curry, from Guthrie, Oklahoma, was the only Great American Conference player to earn First Team honors from D2Football. The senior caught 91 passes for 1297 yards and 16 touchdowns this fall, all of which ranked third nationally. In his career at Henderson State, Curry caught 175 passes for 2464 yards and 30 touchdowns in 23 games.

Already a 2021 First Team All-American according to both the AFCA and D2CCA, Curry is seeking to become the Reddies’ second unanimous First Team All-American of the NCAA era. The only other player to accomplish the feat was fellow receiver Darius Davis in 2014. The final major All-America team yet to be released is the Don Hansen Gazette.
