What goes together better than art and books?

Attendees of the Arkadelphia Festival of Arts may want to make time to make a stop in the Arkadelphia Public Library’s book sale, hosted by Friends of the Clark County Library. According to Brian George, president of the Friends of the Library, the sale will be set up in the public parking lot, located on Clinton Street just across from Slim and Shorty’s.
The Friends of the Library is an organization that provides support for the library, the book sales typically include an array of books from all genres, with proceeds benefiting the library. According to information on the library’s Facebook page, hardback books will be $1, paperbacks are 50 cents, and there are “fill-a-bag” options for even more great deals.
The book sale will be open 2-7:30 p.m. Friday, October 15, and 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 16. George said there are flyers around town to promote the event. Anyone who needs more information should contact the library at 246-2271.
