The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Arkadelphia Police Department

Friday, Oct. 1
Officers opened a felony case of second-degree domestic battery.

10:30 a.m.
A bicyclist on her way to work at Walmart reported an SUV had struck the rear tire of her bicycle near the entrance to the store’s parking lot. The driver of the SUV left in an unknown direction. The woman reported no injuries to herself or damage to her bicycle.

11:11 p.m.
Officers responded to an unattended death at a residence at the 1600 block of Caddo Street.

Saturday, Oct. 2
9:43 a.m.
Police responded to Ashbury Court for a domestic dispute between a man and woman. No arrest was made.

11:15 p.m.
Officers arrested a man at Cox Mobile Manor for assault on a family member. They had responded there for a report of a man having a mental episode, and while speaking to both parties the man grabbed the complainant by her shoulders in an attempt to force her inside to read her Bible.

Sunday, Oct. 3
7:51 p.m.
Police arrested a woman at the 2600 block of Country Club Road for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct after being dispatched there for an unruly woman.

7:58 p.m.
A woman residing at the 200 block of Main Street reported her mailbox had been knocked down. She told police she suspected the responsible party could be her neighbors down the street, who drive ATVs up and down the street “all hours of the night.”

Arrests

Saturday, Oct. 2
Lakonda Davis, 44, continued detention.
Carl Johnson, 46, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for a parole hold.
Gwendolyn Brooks Henderson, 59, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to comply.
Barbara Spann, no age listed, was arrested by Arkansas State Police for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Cameron Garner, 28, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for warrants and failure to comply.
Malcolm Boddie, no age listed, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for third-degree assault.

Sunday, Oct. 3
Darius Pigg, 22, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Lakithia Quetasha Fields, 29, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
