The Clark County Library will be hosting its annual summer reading program June 7 through July 31. This year’s theme is Oceans of Possibility.
Through more than 160 pages, Kendall guides readers through the quirky and intriguing history of a city she’s loved for years. With no stone unturned and no hidden gem remaining in the dark, this book will show you how to experience and explore Hot Springs and Hot Springs National Park.
Maria Fields’ and Grant Reimers’ English classes are doing a weekly activity designed to help foster a love of reading and books in the young adults. On First-Chapter Fridays, 9th- and 10th-grade students have the opportunity to read the first chapter of a book and compete in a tie-in activity to win a copy of the book.
Cranor says the simplest way to describe the book is “Friday Night Lights meet Ozark.”
