A strong third quarter for the Arkadelphia Badgers provided the separation they needed from the Rivercrest Colts to go on to a 48-13 win in the quarterfinals of the 4A State Football Playoffs.
The second round was the same as the first as a quick start propelled the Arkadelphia Badgers to a 52-21 win over the Ozark Hillbillies in the second round of the 4A State Playoffs.
Getting off to a quick start in a game is the goal for every team, and Friday night the Arkadelphia Badgers achieved that goal.
The Badgers (8-0, 5-0) won the program’s first outright 4A-7 conference title since 2013, retained the Ouachita River Rumble Championship belt and secured the top seed from the 4A-7 and home field in the playoffs until the semifinals with the win.

By virtue of the win, the Badgers officially clinched a berth in the 4A State playoffs.
