Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson is slated to make an appearance this week at the Pike County Fair & Rodeo’s 100th anniversary.
Republican gubernatorial candidate Doc Washburn will speak in Camden at the Candidate Meet and Greet on Monday, April 11, 2022, 6 pm. The event will take place at Red Habanero Restaurant, 1280 Highway 278 Bypass, Camden.
The Clark County Workforce Training Group (CCWTG) was awarded $421,315 for regional Millwright and Industrial Maintenance Training.
Those in attendance will have an opportunity to ask questions. Masks are strongly encouraged.
Underneath a projection screen showcasing the future of transportation with futuristic electric vehicles, a drone delivering products to a customer, and autonomous delivery trucks currently operating in Bentonville, Governor Asa Hutchinson proclaimed that Arkansas will continue to lead the world with smart mobility, today he signed an Executive Order that establishes the Arkansas Council on Future Mobility.
“I have never awarded this particular COLA increase,” Governor Hutchinson said. “The last award was in 2012. I see this as absolutely necessary in light of the inflationary pressures that we are all experiencing.”
