With 20 candidates having submitted an application to be the next superintendent of Arkadelphia Public Schools, The Arkadelphian asked its readers, “Who should be the next superintendent?”
Motl said the board has curated a “short list” of interviewees from the applicant pool and will schedule interviews once those applicants’ availability is confirmed.
A 19th person has inked interest in leading Arkadelphia Public Schools.
A total of 18 school administrators from around the state so far have applied for the top spot of Arkadelphia Public Schools.
“We have indeed begun the vetting process of our existing applicants” for the superintendent position, said board president Casey Motl.
